hCG Drops vs Prescription Injections, spray and Tablets

Understanding hCG Drops vs. Prescription hCG

There is a lot of confusion when it comes to the different forms of hCG due to the various ways in which it is available and the relative lack of reliable consumer information.  Unfortunately, products which appear to be similarly labeled as hCG are very different in both their effect and their safetly.  hCG has been used for weight loss since the 1960’s, but the results from homeopathic drops and prescription hCG have often been mixed and combined in the same data when they couldn’t in fact be more different.

hCG products can be broken down into two general categories, prescription and homeopathic.  Both prescription and homeopathic hCG have different ways in which they can be taken. The following table provides a quick comparison of the different effects of the homeopathic drops and the prescription.

A key fact to keep in mind is that only licensed doctors with valid DEA prescribing privileges can write a prescription for any products with actual hCG in them. This means any over the counter hCG purchased without a doctors consultation and prescription is a homeopathic dilution. The over the counter homeopathic hCG preparations don’t require a doctors prescription because there isn’t measurable amounts of hCG in them.

To understand why there isn’t any hCG we’ll look at the label of homeopathic preparations of hCG.  They will have a combination of the following on the label:

hCG 6x, 12x, 30x, or 60x.  The number and the x denote how dilute the hCG is. To break this down further and to understand why the above table states that homeopathic preparations don’t in fact contain hCG here is the relative amount of hCG at the different homeopathic concentrations:

Homeopathic hCG

Approximate analogy of concentration

Actual ratio of hCG / Water

6x

1 drop of hCG in 4 bathtubs of water

1:10’000’000

12x

1 drop of hCG in both the North and South Atlantic Oceans

1:10’000’000’000

30x

1/3 a drop of hCG in all the water on Earth

1:1’000’000’000’000’000’000’000’000’000’000

60x

No measurable hCG

1:1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000

Homeopathic hCG doesn’t have any of the biochemical effects of the actual hCG hormone and this is why so much muscle and water is lost when it’s combined with a low calorie diet.  Of course weight is lost on the restrictive diet, but people using hCG for weight loss are not technically trying to lose weight, they’re trying to lose fat. The low calorie diet when combined with the homeopathic dilutions is in fact a starvation diet as there is no biochemical activity from the hCG drops.  This is the reason weight lost from homeopathic hCG often rebounds as the body recuperates from severe starvation without the assistance of the hCG when people come off the protocol.

Homeopathic hCG drops will often state that they are made in FDA approved laboratories, but this doesn’t mean they contain hCG, or that the preparation itself is approved by the FDA.  Guides can be found on the internet which attempt to show the equivalent dose of homeopathic hCG to prescription hCG.  The reader will now be able to understand that these comparisons are arbitrary and unscientific as the concentrations of hCG in homeopathic dilutions is a marketing scam. The FDA recently sent warning letters to several companies selling the hCG drops due to the amount of false advertising involved in this sale of homeopathic hCg.

Diet Doc uses only prescription hCG which is available in both injections and sublingual tablets. Diet Doc’s modernized hCG diet allows for dieters to stay on the program longer without any metabolic slowdown and minimal hormonal sensitization (these both occur in the Simeons protocol).  All patients first consult with licensed doctors who are specially trained to individualize and prescribe hCG.  Diet Doc provides unlimited clinical support and is the only doctor supervised modern day version of the hCG diet.

We do not sell prescription grade products without a valid prescription.
